We were in the area and were very hungry. I ordered a bacon, mushroom cheeseburger. WOW! It was out of this world. My husband ordered a meatloaf diner. He loved it. Our waitress was great and very personable. The atmosphere and decor was very nice. I live an hour away, but would come here just for this awesome diner!

We were coming to Allentown from New York City and we were looking for a reliable diner. While we read some reviews that were less than perfect, I often discount some negative reviewers since I'm of the belief that sometimes customers might have unrealistic expectations! We loved the City View Diner! Our waitress was wonderful and since we arrived at possibly their busiest lunch time, we anticipated a long wait gorbour lunch but we were pleasantly surprised by their ability to serve us our delicious meals! I had their tuna melt with Swiss cheese and tomatoes and it was delicious! My wife ordered the avocado toast with eggs snd home fries and our daughter had a chicken club with homemade coleslaw, which she loved! I always check the restrooms and the mens room was spotless ! While we didn't have desserts, the ones in the glass cases looked delicious! And the prices on the menu were impressively reasonable! Overall, it was s great dining experience!
